The annual Bridge Party at Bristol’s historic Burning Springs site is back on, after a pandemic pause in 2020. Wear your boots for a hike up the gully to see the legendary burning springs. This is private land and only occasionally opened to the public. Burning Springs Farm owners Alan and Lois Jones invite the public to this event, which started as a thank-you to the town for repairing the Case Road bridge that washed out in a damaging flash flood in 2003. Chili will be served. Alan will give a talk on the fascinating history of the springs at 2 p.m. Some of the artifacts from archeological digs on the farm will be on display. Bring a dessert or dish to pass if you wish. Families welcome.
